This nine-hole course was first inaugurated in 1936, and was constructed by Mckenzie Ross who also was responsible for the Turnberry course in Scotland.

Although an old course its setting should not disappoint you.

Set within the 40 hectacre Park of Vidago; surrounded by pine-trees, cedars and oaks, bunkers and water, the area itself is a refreshing tonic... You will need to play straight or you will find the trees.

Mainly on the flat, but holes 2 – 5 take you up and down the slopes of the mountain, providing you with great views. Handicap certificate required, no buggies available, must reserve tee time.

For health reasons the spa water in this area is famous, andso is the "Palace Hotel", which is the centre piece of the Park ... the family should see this, its like going back in time!

......... All Bookings made through "PortGolf".

Coming from Chaves to Vila Real on the EN 2, turn right after 15 km to Vidago ...... and ask for the Golf course.
