| Set in the heart of the Costa Verde region, surrounded by mountains and ravines, vineyards and fruit gardens, lies this 18 hole course. …. If you want a challenge come here! Two parts: The
first nine holes take you up through a ravine to Quinta
do Anquião (Accomodation), providing glorious views
over the Lima Valley Hole 3 (par 5) is one of the longest holes in Europe, and certainly for the first nine holes it’s recommended to have a buggy! The second nine holes are different, and sited in the Quinta de Pias valley with its surrounding vineyards, cornfields, apple and pear trees. Don’t under-estimate this course; the 6005 metres (Par 71) with 4 Par 3, 11 Par 4, and 3 Par 5 could be difficult, even for you! Shop, practice range, services of club Professional, buggies, trolleys, and club hire, are all available. Handicap certificates (men 28, women 36) are required, but all shoe spikes can be used. The Course is open everyday, and is best during the week. First class Clubhouse with bar, good restaurant, and two good sources of Accommodation are on site. |
