A links course built over three kilometres of beautiful sand dunes along the Minho coast, providing breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. The club secured a good reputation for itself when it was selected to host two events in the European Professionals Circuit. An 18 hole course, with 6017 metres Par 72, with 3 par 5 holes and 8 par 4 holes, very fast greens, and you need to keep out of the sand! Three large water hazards add to the beauty of the course. Good Practice areas are open throughout the day, for driving \ chipping \ bunkers \ putting, and golf lessons can be arranged in advance, with the club Professional. 6 Buggies are available, but the course is quite flat. Must play during the week, as the weekend would be busy with the members. Only Soft spikes can be used! Handicap certificates (men 28, women 36) required. First class facilities are on hand inside the clubhouse, with shop, bar and a very good restaurant. All the facilities are closed on Mondays. The beach for sun bathing and swimming is well worth a visit by the family, while you are on the course. Would recommend dining in Casa de Frango restaurant (chicken and chips + wine) close by, if you do not use the very good club restaurant. Situated only 20 minutes from Oporto airport, on the IC1, in the direction of Esposende.
